Circle of Security(C) Parenting Program

Every parent sets out to do the best they can for their children. But did your child come with a manual? I know mine didn’t! Becoming a Circle of Security(C) Parenting Program Certified Facilitator in 2021 as a toddler mom and therapist greatly impacted me, both personally and professionally. This program offers a roadmap for us to better understand our children’s needs and how to meet them. This is not a tool-based parenting program, but an opportunity to see ourselves and our children through the lens of attachment and using this knowledge to better parent our own unique kiddos.

Circle of Security is currently offered via live video group session only. I am privileged to offer this opportunity with the skilled and certified cofacilitation of my colleague, Cierra Stamper.

Connecting Through Creativity

messy-art-fun-stockcake

“Connecting Through Creativity” is an eConnections original psychoeducational and therapeutic group. This is a fun, casual opportunity for parent-child pairs to practice the pathway to attachment security in a playful way! Using parent-child-dyad art and Theraplay(R)-informed activities, parent-child pairs have the opportunity to communicate non-verbally, to practice co-regulation, and to experience delight, acceptance and empathy through fun! Parents are supported in this process with adult-only presentation and discussion time allotted to each session. Information provided includes the basics of attachment needs, the 4 pillars of Theraplay(R), and opportunities for engaging these, both within group and at home. The program is offered to a closed group of up to 6 pre-screened parent-child pairs for 2 hours, one day weekly, for 6 weeks in a pre-arranged meeting room in  Brandon.

Free Live Info Sessions

The first Thursday of every month, I go live on Facebook at 2:00pm for one hour to share on a topic of interest related to my work. Examples might include ideas for approaching current events, attachment theory, child development and mental health, using art for healing, art- and Theraplay(R)-informed activities to do at home, and much more! These lives will also be available after the event for viewing at your own pace, whether you missed the session or would like a chance to revisit. This can be a great opportunity to access free resources, or get a better sense of who I am, what I do, and how I may be able to help you and/or your family.
